Regarding Independent School Axis Axis is a 501(c)( 3) nonprofit organization that companions with Los Angeles area independent institutions to produce paths for underrepresented trainees and households of shade to gain access to, browse, and prosper in private education. Independent schools do not properly stand for the overall Los Angeles population, where over 70% of citizens are individuals of color. With our Axis mates, we support students and instructors of shade as they access personal education and learning possibilities with our continuous support. We also work with Companion Schools throughout L.A. to make an enduring and transformative effect on their variety, equity, inclusion, and responsibility (DEIA) methods. By holding schools responsible for just how they come close to and deal with DEIA, we can accomplish better learning results for all students while additionally preparing them to end up being multiculturally proficient people. Our genuine, extensive, and deliberate approach seeks to develop a much more equivalent and simply education experience for all.
